Ay Ay Ay Whoop!!

Its the time of year again...waking up early to pull tickets, tailgating, and joining 80,000 other Aggies rooting for the Fighting Texas Aggies! But this year is different because I can WHOOP! There are many aggie traditions, one being that only upper classmen can whoop.

To kickoff the football season the Aggies took on Arkansas State. The game started at 6, so by halftime the cool breeze was blowing through and it felt nice outside!

Lindsey and Landon got to come to the game too. They bought 2 tickets for $45...not bad for a last minute game at all!

Both Class of 2010

Although the Aggies lost their season opener we had a good time, and I made it through 3rd quarter! It gets soooo tiring standing for the whole game! Yeah I may be a 2% but I was proud. I will take it a quarter at a time and by senior year maybe I can stay for all 4!

The Perfect College Job

I feel like I've done it all...sacked groceries, pulled drowning kids out of pools, answered phones, filed papers, photoshoots, picked up winning bingo cards, served the famous Texas Roadhouse rolls...and the list goes on and on and on. But I think I have found a job to stick with until I graduate!! (I say that now...I always seemed to have a change of mind once that 4th or 5th month rolls around). I met a young family through church and have become their babysitter! Leah decided to go back to teaching at A&M so for about 15 hours a week I babysit 8 month old Will. It's perfect. During Will's nap time I get studying in and because Leah is a prof at A&M when Christmas or Spring Breaks roll around, I get off for school and work! Some days Will and I have photo sessions from my phone because he loves the phone and loves to see himself on the screen...so this is one that I saved from my last phone!

Is it 54 or Did You Mean 45?

Over the summer I got to know some of the A&M Basketball players pretty well. So Jacy and I decided to take a picture with Nathan holding up his number, 45. Travis was our photographer and the next day looking back at the pictures it was funny to see what we found!!

First we debated...who should hold up the number 4 and who should hold up the 5.

Then we have to laugh at ourselves for having to think that long and hard on which number to hold up!

Then we finally get it...or at least we thought!! Once we uploaded the pictures we quickly noticed after all the debate and discussion we were holding up 54!!

Night 2...we finally figure it out and here we go... Nathan Walkup #45!

Maybe Our Girlfriends are Our Soulmates and Guys are Just People to Have Fun With

So I have met the most amazing girls since being in college! It's funny to look back and see how you met the people you know in college...its crazy! By meeting one person in such a boring chemistry class, I was linked to girlfriends that will last a lifetime!! Lesson learned from this...never be afraid to speak to those around you because you never know what new chapter of your life will come from it!!

Whether it's a night out for Sushi, cooking dinner together, Taco Tuesday (can you tell we like to eat), going to the gym, or watching tv we definitely know how to have a good time cause you know how the old saying goes...Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!

Watch Out Mom...I'm Coming Through!

My mom joined my world through myspace...so I thought why not take a step into her's and become a blogger!!

This would make things easier on her anyway so she can know what's going on...love you mom!!

But I am sure she is thinking, how on earth will I have time to blog when I should be studying since college started back :( but you will be suprised!!
